Le Petit Clos Tranquille was conceived as an escape from everyday life in the heart of Charente-Maritime. Palm trees, yuccas and other exotic plants give the gardens a southern feel and an almost tropical atmosphere. A carefully tended green setting that makes you feel worlds away, without ever leaving the region.
Monday to Saturday, 8.30am–12.30pm and 2pm–8pm
Set at the heart of the estate, the padel court is open to all guests throughout their stay. Rackets and balls are provided, with rackets matching the colours of the villas. The court is open Monday to Saturday, from 8.30am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 8pm.
The estate has an area dedicated to mini-golf, set within the gardens of Le Petit Clos Tranquille. The course is free to use throughout your stay. A giant chess set completes the area, its large pieces standing right on the board, so you can carry on the fun with another game.
Close to the padel court, a table tennis table stands in a spot surrounded by greenery. It is available to guests for the whole of their stay. Bats and balls are provided on site, so you can play whenever you like throughout the day.
The pétanque court is an area entirely devoted to the game, within the estate’s grounds. Guests can gather there throughout the day or in the late afternoon. Boules are provided on site so that everyone can enjoy the court as they please.
The kitchen garden is laid out in several square beds and, as the seasons go by, grows tomatoes, strawberries, peppers, aromatic herbs and much more. The henhouse completes this garden area. Every week, a basket prepared by the gardener with produce harvested on the estate is also left for guests.
Four bikes are available to guests during their stay at Le Petit Clos Tranquille. You can set off straight from the estate to explore Saint-Ciers-du-Taillon and the surrounding area. A simple way to discover more of the area without always having to take the car.
